Apple iPhone App Design
An App I am working on, among several other for fun apps, is an app for managing VMware Products in the VSphere 4.0 Product line. This will include ESX, ESXi, VMware Server, and VCenter/Manager apps.
I have been enjoying a good read from a while back, that gave me the momentum to get this idea of mine rolling again.
Software Firewall UTM Reviews
Every now and again, my firewall acts up. Rather it reacts to the torrent of information I try to force through it. It is coming to be time to reload this box of mine and try out some firewalls. I will be following this post up with an in depth review on several firewall solutions, ranging from Untangle, PFsense, Monowall, Sonicwall, Endian, and IPCop.
Are there any firewalls I forgot to mention that you would like to see reviewed? Leave a comment.
I expect to have my trials completed over the weekend, with hopes to look at ease of use, platform flexibility, functionality when virtualized, feature sets, and quality deliver of those features.
Expect to see this review pop up in the next couple of days.
Apple Tablet Mockup? Or Fake?
I think I could perhaps like a device like this. But it does make me wonder how in the world I would justify having both an iPhone and an iPad/iSlate/iAwesome. It would be a good time to share the iMoneyTree so I could afford it.

Apple iSlate/Tablet/LargeiPhone
It is now almost without question that an iTablet (or whatever this apple device will be) is coming, for a variety of reasons. There is also a torrent of other tablet like devices coming back to the market. The form factor isn't new, but with the coming of more powerful mobile chipsets, and the promise of increased battery life should bring a refresh to the idea.
There are a few things that would cause me to invest
-Ebook Reading, don't care if it is e-ink, but I need it to be portable
-PDF support, document support for other formats would be nice.
-sub notebook pricepoint, needs to be less than $1000.
-web Browser ability of some kind
I could see myself getting one if some of these aspects are set.
The 27th will be telling.
Free CDN Access
Coral's Site: http://www.coralcdn.org/
What is a CDN? Content Delivery Networks help move data efficiently all over the world, or over large geographical regions. These resources help spread the load on servers by allowing for a group of servers to mirror and provide services and content normally one server would provide. CDNs also reduce the risk of downtime due to numerous hosting sites that are.
In comes Coral, most modern CDN networks cost a fairly substantial amount of money to operate or utilize. Coral is simply put, a free CDN. This site currently employs Coral to help lesson the load on the server and get better use of bandwidth.
To begin using Coral, simply append .nyud.net to any web address. for example, to get to Revision3.com through the Coral Network, the URL would look like: http://www.Revision3.com.nyud.net
